Kinematic Creature

This model is inspired by Theo Jansen's kinematic creature, a kinetic sculpture that mimics the movement of a walking animal using wind power and complex linkages. This model is my second and improved attempt utilizing the 'Assembly' feature of Solidworks, enabling fixed points and specific mating parameters to mimic the linkage and movement of Theo Jansen's work, demonstrating the smooth walking motion of Jansen's Linkage mechanism. I had modified his design by inputting gears to simulate motorized movement.
