Motion Alarm System

I had designed a motion alarm system for the purpose of monitoring movement in a certain radius using a passive infrared (PIR) sensor in order to pick up suspicious activity. Moreover, leveraged knowledge of Raspberry pi (a micro-computer) and Python code to connect a PIR motion sensor to the system in order to ensure it operated efficiently. I developed a code in Python that sent an email using Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) server details in order to notify users of when the alarm had been tripped. Prior to the project, I had no knowledge of python coding, I had taught myself throughout the construction of the project.
